The job advert for the UNI Club 2018 is now live!
The UNI Club 2018 is looking for postgraduate research students to become UNI Club tutors this academic year, which would be approximately 45 hours paid work across a three month period. The UNI Club is a programme where research students lead on a teaching module with year 9 young people (aged 13/14 years old) to extend and enrich their learning. The UNI Club tutors are existing postgraduate research students from the University of Northampton who will manage, create the content, facilitate and assess their own 6-week module of learning for young people in Northamptonshire schools, linked to their own subject of research. The aim of the programme is to open the eyes of young learners to new subjects and different ways of learning, ultimately giving them a flavour of university style teaching and learning, whilst giving research students opportunities to develop their time management, teaching and learning skills.
