The UN School of Health, in association with NHS Northamptonshire, presents a seminar:
Social enterprise, is this a benefit to the health sector?
Wednesday 12th June 2013, 1-2pm at Sunley Conference Centre, the University of Northampton, Park Campus. Includes a sandwich lunch.
Social Enterprise is becoming more visible in the Health and Social care sector with health and social care professionals supplying services in order to meet demand and change provision. This seminar will give you the opportunity to see how some social enterprises have been able to impact on consumer demand and demonstrate how they have changed service delivery. You will hear from successful social entrepreneurs about their journey and be able to pose questions in an open discussion forum. This seminar will also provide an opportunity to hear about Healthwatch Northamptonshire Community Interest Company, the new social enterprise and public champion for health and social care provision within the county and how social enterprises can support the Care Bill recently highlighted in the Queens Speech.
