The University’s Institute of Learning and Teaching in Higher Education is seeking a full time research assistant.

The vision of the Institute of Learning and Teaching in Higher Education at the University of Northampton is to enable transformational learning experiences through inspirational teaching. Research to practice is central to the Institute’s activities. We are seeking to appoint a full-time Research Assistant to contribute to and coordinate the research, development and consultancy activities of the Institute, internally and externally. The successful applicant will coordinate the Open Northampton project, which focuses on open educational resources and associated practices, and provide administrative support to the Institute of Learning and Teaching.

Santander Universities Entrepreneurship Awards – Deadline 22 March 2013

The Santander Universities Entrepreneurship Awards for 2013 offer a fantastic opportunity for students and graduates. The aim of the awards is to offer increased support in the form of funding for young entrepreneurs who have either recently graduated from or who are still studying at Santander Partner Universities. As well as providing cash investment to assist with ideas and business, the winners will also receive valuable press coverage through the recognition received from this initiative.

RCUK’s research career case study resource

RCUKlogoRCUK has published further research career case studies, designed to inspire the next generation to think about pursuing a career in research.

Each case study tells their own personal story of how they got involved in research, what it takes to be a researcher, and their rewarding experiences from their chosen career paths.
