Picturing Change: Digital visual culture in early years education

This FREE one-day workshop will explore the role of digital visual culture in the formal and informal education of young children. As the screen becomes increasingly prominent in homes and schools as a source of visual stimulation and as a medium for visual exploration, educators and educational researchers must take on the responsibility of understanding how this cultural change will influence the development and learning of young children. Picturing Change will be an opportunity to discuss the theories and methods that are best suited to this task, as well as a forum for sharing findings that have been made in the field so far.
