We are pleased to announce the School of the Arts Research Seminar Series for Autumn/Winter 2013.
The term has already got off to a great start with Richard Canning in conversation with comedian Stewart Lee (Avenue Campus, 28 September 2013) and Nathan Wiseman-Trowse’s book launch of ‘Nick Drake: Dreaming England’ (NN Cafe Northampton, 3 October 2013). This featured music by Gregg Cave, who has appeared at the Cambridge Folk Festival.
We hope that you will join us for our forthcoming season of seminars at Avenue Campus:
Thursday 10th October – Dr Todd Martin (Huntingdon University, Indiana): ‘Women and Katherine Mansfield’s Divided Self’.
Thursday 24th October – Professor Isabella Van Elferen (Kingston University): ‘Gothic Music: The Sounds of the Uncanny’.
