Institute of Health and Wellbeing mapping workshops
Submitted by Katie Jones, Manager for the Institute of Health & Wellbeing
The internal launch of the Institute of Health and Wellbeing was used as an opportunity to gauge interest in a number of research themes and identify others. We now have six themes that we’d like to explore in more depth with colleagues from across the University.
- Mental Health and Wellbeing
- Family Health and Wellbeing
- Organisational Health and Wellbeing
- Physical Activity and Health
- Environment and Health
- Health and Wellbeing in the Ageing Population
The Institute of Health and Wellbeing is hosting an initial workshop on each of these themes to map who, what, why and how we should develop each one to become a high profile research cluster delivering excellent research with impact.
We’re deliberately not sharing ideas on what these themes should encompass. We would like the University’s academic community to come together to discuss, debate and develop these so that they reflect our expertise and interests.
Please click on the theme(s) you’re interested in above for the Eventbrite booking page and information on the format of the workshop.
If you are unable to attend the workshop(s), please email healthandwellbeing@northampton.ac.uk for details on how you can feed your contribution into the event.
Please do pass this email on to (internal) colleagues you think may be interested in attending one of these workshops.
Thanks and we look forward to seeing you there.
