Normalising childbirth—use of water and maternal position

This seminar presents two independent audit evaluation projects, which focussed on midwifery practice on labour ward within NHS
Trusts in Middle England. Claire Clews, Senior Lecturer at the University of Northampton presents the data of women using water and Tracey Barnfather, Principal Lecturer at the University of Northampton the evaluation of positions women adopted. Findings from both studies highlighted areas of good midwifery practice supporting women to achieve normal birth and informed future thesis for the Professional Doctorate students.
