Peggie Kellam Memorial Lecture

The 2014 Peggie Kellam Memorial Lecture takes place on Thursday 6 November at Sunley Conference Centre.

This year, Professor David Hands will explore issues of stress, care and compassion in the workplace, particularly the NHS, informed by his extensive research and significant operational experience in health service policy and development.

  1. It does seem ironic that care and compassion is lacking for so many NHS workers, which of course causes great stress. The lecture will hopefully include examples of proven policy and management changes that have already been implemented and are successful.
