Graduate School Workshops: Highlights for November and December 2014
From now until the end of December, the Graduate School are offering doctoral students at UN a variety of skills development sessions.
For new PGRs: Two Development days are on offer – Getting Started 1 and 2 – containing no less than 6 different skills workshop.
For those students who are well into the task of writing: We have the skilled and knowledgable Adair Richards coming in to run an academic writing day – a skills training session AND practical writing retreat. Only 11 places left on this so book soon!
For those near the end of their PhD: Chris Roe’s Preparing for the Viva will run as an evening workshop and a careers workshop will support those looking for research work in academic and non-academic fields.
For all: We are also running two SPSS training sessions, these are open to Early Career Researchers and PGR students.
