The Institute of Health and Wellbeing presents:
Moderate/Vigorous Physical Activity and Sedentary Time in Children using Accelerometery Data
Wednesday 10th December 2014, 1-2pm, Sunley Conference Centre.
In this seminar, Dr. Sally Fenton will present a series of studies conducted as part of the European-wide Promoting Adolescent Physical Activity (PAPA) project. These studies have employed objective assessments of physical activity to examine a) levels of physical activity engagement among children active in the context of organised sport and b) psychosocial factors influencing levels of physical activity engagement and sedentary time in this cohort.
