Lunchtime seminar: Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and Quality of Life

The Institute of Health and Wellbeing’s next lunchtime seminar takes place on Wednesday 11 February and is led by Sophie Williams (University of Derby). Read on for full details – please note that the location for this seminar is Cottesbrooke room C326 at Park Campus.

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and Quality of Life

Wednesday 11 February, 1-2pm
Cottesbrooke room C326, Park Campus

Sophie Williams, Health Psychology Lecturer (online) and final year PhD student at the University of Derby will present the findings of her PhD which explores the impact of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) on quality of life. At this seminar Sophie will include a discussion on the qualitative and quantitative methodologies used to achieve this, including; photovoice, online interviews, scale development and validation and an online clinical randomised controlled trial in partnership with the Royal Derby Hospital.

A sandwich lunch will be provided.
