Organisation Studies Network (OSN) seminar on 9th June

The next Organisation Studies Network (OSN) seminar will be held at Northampton Business School on 9th June 2015 from 12 noon. The OSN includes the University of East London, Keele University, Staffordshire University and the University of Northampton and the group meets regularly to discuss and debate issues around Organisation Studies. The programme on the 9th June includes papers on Research and Writing, Choosing and Trusting in Health and Medicine, Cultures of Mis-selling in the Financial Services Industry and more. Full details of the programme are attached.

Call for papers: School of Education conference deadline end of March
The closing date for the submission of abstracts is fast approaching for the School of Education’s 6th Annual Research Student Conference. PhD and Masters students are invited to submit an abstract by 31st March 2015. The conference will be held in the Sulgrave Building, School of Education, Park Campus, on Friday 26th June and Saturday 27th June 2015. Academy scholarship competition for full time research students
The Institute of Ideas Academy is back – a residential weekend retreat which is unashamedly intellectual. From Friday 17th July to Monday 20th July, in the countryside of Bedfordshire, you get the chance to discuss The Public Throughout History, from the Greek and Roman Republics to the more complex, mobile, global publics of the present day.
For the fourth year, The Institute of Ideas will be running the Academy Scholarship Programme for full time students of ANY academic discipline. Successful applicants will be eligible to attend the annual Academy weekend for the heavily subsidised rate of £60, including accommodation and full board. Read on for details of how to apply. Midlands Health Psychology Network Conference: Registration now open
Registration is now open for the Midlands Health Psychology Network Conference, which will be held at the University of Derby on Thursday 19th February.
The conference this year is entitled ““Healthy Mind and Body – Understanding, Supporting and Improving” and features key note speakers Professor Sarah Grogan from Manchester Metropolitan University and Dr. Neil Coulson from the University of Nottingham. Delegate fees are low (from £35 to £80, depending on status) and all students, academics, researchers and practitioners are welcome.
