Inspiring Futures: The 2016 EMUA PGR Student Conference call for papers and posters
Calling all of our postgraduate research students! Here’s a chance to present your work via a talk or poster at the 2016 East Midlands University Association (EMUA) postgraduate research student conference, which will be held on September 1st 2016. The call for papers is now open and will close on July 7th.
This friendly and relaxed conference will be hosted this year by the Loughborough University Graduate School and is a great opportunity to promote your work, and to meet and network with other postgraduate research students from around the East Midlands.
The theme for the 2016 conference is “Inspiring Futures” – how your research can inspire a better future, whether it is for the world, for your research field, or perhaps just for you! This could be by designing a solution to a specific problem, discovering a new way of working, opening up a new way of thinking about a subject, or inspiring others to make change in the world. Oral and poster presentations are encouraged from a range of disciplines and approaches, but do remember to submit your paper or poster idea by 7th July.
Or if you don’t want to present, then why not put the date in your diary and plan to come along and be inspired! For more information see the conference website.
