Call for Papers from PGRs – September 2017 Conferences
The East Midlands Doctoral Network (EMDoc) would like to invite PGR students to submit an abstract for a paper or poster to their Postgraduate Research Conference. This year conference will be hosted at the University of Nottingham and is a great opportunity to promote students’ research, and meet and network with other postgraduate research students from around the East Midlands. The conference will be held on the 13th September which is the day before the University of Northampton PGR/ ECR conference. So, aiming at encouraging our students to communicate their research both in internal and external settings, and seeking to help them improve their presentation skills, the Graduate School is offering PGR students the opportunity of covering the expenses of their trip to Nottingham if they are also planning to present in the PGR/ECR conference in Northampton. PGR Poster Competition 2017: Call for posters extended!
The call for posters for The Graduate School’s 12th Annual Poster Competition has been extended for another 5 days. If you are a UoN research student and would like the chance to win a £100 or £75 prize then why not take part and submit your Entry Form to Simone by this Friday 28th April. Please also read the Rules of Entry 2017.
You have until the Poster Competition date to design and print your poster. The competition will be held on Wednesday 17th May 2017, 11am to 2pm, in the Dialog Cafe, ground floor of Rockingham Library, Park Campus. To enter the competition you will need to be available from 10am on the 17th May (to set up) and be present until 2pm. During the competition you will stand by your poster from 11 until 13:00 to be judged. Read the rest of this entry
PGR Student Poster Competition 2017: Call for posters from research students
The Graduate School would like to invite research students to submit an application to present a poster at their 12th Annual Poster Competition on Wednesday 17th May 2017, 11am to 2pm, in the Dialog Cafe, ground floor of Rockingham Library, Park Campus. School of Education’s 5th Annual Research Student Conference – call for papers & posters

Are you a UN postgraduate research student? If so, you are invited to submit an abstract for the School of Education’s 5th Annual Research Student Conference, 27th & 28th June. The theme for the conference is ‘Researching Learning, Learning to Research’ and PhD students are invited to make presentations or posters about work pertaining to an educational theme.
Supervisors are also invited to report on their research in the form of posters.
Public engagement activity – call for posters
The UK Council for Graduate Education (UKCGE) are holding a workshop on the 27th February, focusing on Public Engagement with Postgraduate Education. They are looking for doctoral researchers, who have participated in a public engagement activity, to display & present a poster, showcasing that activity.
