Without End: Documents of Research – Final call for papers.

without endA new symposium and exhibition, ‘Without End: Documents of Research‘, is to be held at Avenue Gallery on 16 February 2018. This unique event will reflect on the research process, of being in research and the documents which facilitate and inform it. If you are a postgraduate researcher or an early career researcher why not submit a paper or document? A document might be a notebook, soil sample, post-it note or statistical data or something else which you feel is or has been a source of ideas and inspiration for your research.

Save the date! Moulton’s Postgraduate Research Symposium, 15th December

Moulton College logoMoulton’s Postgraduate Research Symposium will take place on Thursday 15th December 2016 in P9, the Lecture Theatre, Pitsford Centre, from 1pm to 4:15pm with a buffet lunch beforehand. All students and staff at the University of Northampton are welcome to attend.

After an opening address by Steve Davies, Principal at Moulton College, 11 presentations by postgraduate research students will follow. Research topics will include exotic pet welfare, lameness detection in sheep, tree health and the effects of cryotherapy for sports recovery. At 4:15pm coffee, tea and mince pies will be served. The 5th Symposium on Lift and Escalator Technologies, 23-24 September 2015

5thsymposiumThe University of Northampton School of Science and Technology and the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) Lifts Group present the 5th Symposium on Lift and Escalator Technologies, which will be held at Highgate House, Northampton, from 23rd to 24th September 2015. This annual Symposium brings together experts from the field of vertical transportation, offering an opportunity for speakers to present peer reviewed papers on the subject of their research. Speakers include industry experts, academics and post graduate students.

Moulton College Postgraduate Research Symposium

The Moulton College Postgraduate Research Symposium will take place this year on Friday 13th December from 2:00 – 4:15pm. All staff from Moulton College and the University of Northampton are welcome. Throughout the afternoon there will be eight speakers and papers include ““Initial findings on the reproductive success and survival of harvest mice post release.“ and “Developments in human cryotherapy research at Moulton College.” Coffee/tea, mince pies and networking will follow at 4:15pm. The event will be held in P9, the lecture theatre at the Pitsford site (gate 4).
