Reflections on Subject Futures Week…
It’s been over a month now since the excitement of Subject Future’s Week at the School of the Arts (27-31 January 2014), but much of the careers advice given by a whole host of individual’s from across the Creative Industries holds as true for postgraduates studying for a doctorate as it does for their peers in publishing, media, arts, theatre fashion and design.
University of Northampton Scholars affiliated to the CoHaB ITN team up with New Zealand Studies Network to Celebrate Fleur Adcock’s Eightieth Birthday
On 14th February 2014, Professor Janet Wilson, Director of Research at the University of Northampton School of the Arts, CoHaB representative and Deputy Chair of the New Zealand Studies Network (NZSN) celebrated with fellow authors and members of the NZSN, the eightieth birthday of internationally renowned New Zealand poet, Fleur Adcock.
Research Seminars and Associate Professor Lectures continue…
Following Mike Starr’s sterling start to the research seminar series in January, on Thursday 6th February at 6pm in MY120 Avenue Campus, we will be welcoming novelist and film-maker, Alistair Fruish to the School of the Arts. Alistair who is a member of the Writers-in-Prison Network will be discussing his novel Kiss My Asbo, which has been recommended by Graphic Novelist, Alan Moore (Watchmen, V for Vendetta).
